There are some errors that are made very regularly by players - even experienced players. This data does give one a tremendous advantage but then it should be kept in mind that the odds against winning the jackpot are still very high.  It's good to keep in mind that some of these manuals give instructions on how to place bets to win second, third and fourth place prizes and these can add up over the course of a year.  In some six number drawings, second-place winnings can be several thousand dollars for each ticket.  If two or three tickets contain winning numbers and betting combinations this is a sizable win.  It's not the same amount of money that you would win by winning the jackpot but at the same time a win of several thousand dollars can be very gratifying.

Another route that players choose is to bet only during the "lucky months of the year" for them. It has been demonstrated that some people win lottery prizes consistently in certain months and this they believe may have some connection to the birth month. Some blogs will actually pick a "lucky number" for you each day or even a series of these numbers. However, they never let you know the system that they use to pick these numbers and therefore confidence levels in these numbers may not be very high.
