4.) Pool your money for playing the lottery with several other people. An example would be the “office lottery pool” in those states where it is permitted. This allows you to buy a lot more tickets than you normally would be able to on your own. Studies have shown that there really is power in numbers. The odds favor individuals who have joined a pool as winners rather than those who play solo tickets to produce lottery winning numbers..

5.) If you are not sure which lotteries have paid lately or what the digits are that are most likely to be picked in a future lottery, there are also many sites on the internet that have done your homework for you, predicting through mathematical odds which numbers are most likely to come up.

The Odds Are Not in Your Favor

Your chance of winning a share in a big jackpot prize are not very high.. In the UK national lottery (now named Lotto) your chances of having a share of a top jackpot, by getting 6 balls out of 6 representing the numbers 1 to 49 are low. But,  most weeks people win, and often several people share the jackpot.
